Michele came well recommended by close friends of ours. From the start she went out of her way to meet with us, giving us several hours of her Friday night.
Due to our last minute wedding, she had less than a day to submit our 30 day marriage notice. Since then Michele has held our hands throughout every step of the process. Continuing providing information to help prepare us for the big day. It's thanks to her guidance that made the ceremony touching.
She is a perfect listener, and as such, she translated our quick conversation into beautiful and emotional words full of details of our 10-year history.
Thanks to Michele, we have a recording of our vows which we could send to our parents overseas. Even our guests complimented her ceremony skills and etiquette. We could not imagine having done our wedding with any other celebrant.
We are eternally grateful to Michele for making our special day exceed our expectations. Michele's warmth and attention come second to none, and we will recommend her services any chance we get.

Michele was an absolute delight to work with and made our day so special! She guided and encouraged us the whole way, while helping us make the ceremony completely unique to us. Dan and I have been told time and time again by family and friends that our ceremony was one of the most magical and sincere ceremonies they have ever experienced. We put this down to the remarkable organisation, energy, intuition and understanding of our celebrant, Michele Selwyn.
Her big smile, poise, grace and quite frankly, her lovely speaking voice added to the occasion. She instantly put all participants - readers, musicians and the bridal party, at ease.
Our guests noted, that unlike many civil ceremonies, the legal jargon in no way took away from the romance of the afternoon, as it was amid other meaningful and personal words that we had crafted with Michele. Her willingness to work on multiple drafts, transform our anecdotes into unforgettable moments and integrate our favourite quotes with perfect timing all added to the final magic of the day.
Dan and I were both a little worried about what to include or not include in our wedding script, but Michele found a way to put us at ease and represent the uniqueness of our love and the flavour of our wedding day. We also want to mention that she looked gorgeous and made an effort to match our colour scheme with an outfit that was both professional and beautiful enough for photos.
Dan and I had the pleasure of having Michele be our Master of Ceremonies which was an added delight, as she has a taste for fun and kept the evening upbeat. So many complements about her MCing!
Dan and I recommend Michele whole-heartedly. After meeting her once at our friend’s wedding, we knew she was ‘the one’ and she has not disappointed.
